IBPS Clerical Recruitment 2012-2013 is to be held once again which is known to be an essential pre-requisite for seeking bank jobs in the clerical cadre of all participating Public Sector Banks of India. As such, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct this Common Written Examination 2012-13 for clerical cadre and online application for the same is being accepted through its dedicated registration portal from 15th October 2012 onward. So if you are one of those candidates who wish to shape a career in banking sector as clerk or equivalent position, then this CWE Clerk-II is a compulsory qualification for applying to any of the recruitment notifications of the 20 participating banks as will be published from time to time. For all those candidates who have appeared earlier in the first session of IBPS CWE must note that the said qualification would expire on February 2013 and as such they may choose to apply afresh to obtain a valid scorecard for another year. The requirements mentioned above as eligibility criteria should be possessed by the candidate as on 1st October 2012 so as to be considered valid.
The examination will be held online in around 62 test centres located across the country. CWE Clerical Online Examination 2012-13 will consist of 200 objective type questions with equal number of marks. The syllabus structure of CWE Clerk II includes 5 parts each carrying 40 marks with a total duration of 2 hours allowed for answering the questions. The syllabus includes Reasoning, English, Computer, Numerical Ability and General Awareness with special reference to banking sector. There will also be negative markings system and 0.25 marks will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
