TET Assam Recruitment 2nd Phase for those who did not apply in 1st Phase

As we mentioned above, all the TET passed candidates who will be applying for the teacher's recruitment in lower primary & upper primary schools located at interior rural areas of Assam will have to submit their application in a prescribed format to the office of State Mission Office, SSA situated at Kahilipara, Guwahati. The application form can be downloaded from the attachment section below or can also be obtained from its official website. The last date to apply is 10th July and candidates must ensure that their application forms complete in all respect along with all its enclosures should reach the concerned address before the closing date. They have to submit all relevant documents such as attested xerox copies of marksheet and certificates in support of their educational & professional qualification, age proof, caste/disability certificate and TET Certificate along with the form.

Candidates belonging to the OBC, MOBC, SC, ST(P/H), PH and Women candidates will be able to avail appointment under reservation of posts as per the norms of the Government. Be informed that the selected candidates will be engaged in schools having the medium of language as Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Bodo, Nepali, Manipuri, Garo and Hmar in both LP & UP category as per the selection of the candidate in Language-I paper opted during the Teachers Eligibility Test in Assam.
Moreover, it is mandatory for the applicants to submit their choice of four districts sorted in order of preference while filling up the application form. In other words, the candidate should provide all necessary particulars in the relevant fields as incomplete applications will be rejected. As per the rules set for this recruitment, the selected Assistant Teachers will have to enter into agreement with the concerned School Management Committee before joining their duty. They will also have no claim over any regular post in the school but may apply for the same whenever any vacancy arises.
The selection procedure will involve a screening and verification process of all the original documents of the applicants. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit only. For applicants who are willing to apply for age relaxation, be informed that the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category. All other candidates whose age are upto 45 years will be able to apply subject to the condition that their over-age is condoned by the Director, Elementary Education. In such a case, the applicants have to submit a written application for age condonation before 8th July 2012 by mentioning the following details while applying:-
- Name of the applicant
- Father's Name
- TET Roll Number:
- Paper I
- Paper II
- Date of Birth (with supporting documents)
The candidates will be able to collect their age condonation approval order latest by 10th July 2012.
