SSC DEO and LDC Recruitment 2012 - Combined HS Level Examination

SSC DEO and LDC Recruitment 2012 has been announced recently and a Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination will be held in this regard. Being meant for the 12th standard passed candidates only, this is a good opportunity for those willing to get absorbed in a Government Job (Sarkari Naukri) in India with such minimum educational qualification at their credit. The vacancy details are not made available as of now and the same will be determined by the commission in the due course. So, any Indian citizen (including subjects of few other neighboring countries as mentioned in the notification) belonging to the age group of 18-27 years as on 1st August 2012 may apply on paper in prescribed format or submit online application form (whichever convenient) before the closing date. In addition to the details mentioned above, the said Combined All India Open Examination to be held for 10+2 Level may also be conducted for engagement of analogous post of Store Clerks in Govt. Ministries or Organizations. As already mentioned earlier, the educational qualifications necessary to be eligible for this SSC Recruitment Examination is to be 10+2 passed or any other higher examination as on 1st August 2012. As part of selection procedure, there will be a written test for all candidates including an additional skill test for DEO category and a Typing test for those applying for LDC category.

The examination will be conducted in around 112 centres approximately under 9 Regional Offices of Commission. The syllabus of the written examination will be comprising 4 Parts each carrying 50 marks with a total exam duration of 120 minutes for General candidates and 140 minutes for candidates who are Visually handicapped. The papers includes General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness & English Language and there will 50 questions from each of these papers/parts. Negative markings of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each wrong answers given and the same will be deducted accordingly.

SSC DEO/LDC Recruitment 2012 - Apply Online or Offline

Staff Selection Commission has made the provision to apply for this SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2012 both on plain paper as well as through online application. For offline submission, the applicants has to follow the Annexure II A of the notification which includes the prescribed format and the guidelines to filling up the application form. Likewise, the online application process is divided into Part I and Part II Registration which may be seen from Annexure II B.

A fee of Rs.100/- is payable by all applicants other than those belonging to SC/ST, PH, EXSM and Women candidates. For applicants opting for paper application can pay this fee by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS) which can be obtained from Post Offices. Online applicants can pay the fee through SBI Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards or deposit cash with Challan in any branch of State Bank of India. Regarding the SSC DEO & LDC Recruitment Challan, be informed that this can be obtained only after completion of Part I registration of online application form. The Challan can be printed on paper and then submitted along with cash in the bank. After successful payment of the requisite fee, the online applicant will be able to continue with the subsequent Part II registration process.
