Central Teacher Eligibility Test November 2012 is announced and all the interested candidates will be able to apply online for being eligible to the post of teacher in Central Government Schools from classes I to VIII. CTET is also considered as an essential eligibility requirement for recruitment to the post of teachers in most private schools too. However, it must be noted that this test is conducted for determining the eligibility of the candidate and simply qualifying in the same will not guarantee any job to them. The minimum qualifications required to apply for CTET November 2012 Examinations in both Primary & Elementary Stage includes Senior Secondary passed and Graduates along with various other diplomas. The CTET Examination Pattern will be of objective type and will carry Multiple Choice Questions. There will be two papers - one for those intending to apply for the post of teachers of Class I-V and the others interested in Class VI-VIII. There will be no negative markings or penalty for wrong answers in both the 2 papers. If any candidate wishes to apply in both the categories i.e. Primary and Elementary Stage, then they have to appear in both the Papers. Candidates scoring atleast 60% marks in the examination will be provided marks card. The qualification will remain valid for a period of 7 years from the result announcement date and the candidate can apply for appointment to the post of teachers (whenever available) in the relevant category within that validity period. Reappearing in the examination to improve the marks is allowed without any restriction which is however subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Board.
CTET November 2012 Examination - Apply Online at www.ctet.nic.inThe mode of application for Central Teachers Eligibility Test to be held in the month of November is online submission. Interested applicants having fulfilled all the prescribed requirements can fillup the online application form as per the schedule mentioned above. After successfully submitting the CTET Online Application Form, there will be the provision to print a copy of the confirmation page. The hard copy of this system generated confirmation page will have to be sent to the CBSE, CTET Unit and should reach before the last date. This confirmation page printed on plain paper will have the space to affix a recent passport size photograph and to put signature of the applicant. This should be provided as applicable in the relevant space. A fee is also applicable which is shown in the table below.

The fee should be paid by means of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education payable at New Delhi. The candidate should write on back of the DD his Registration No and contact details. This should be sent along with the filled-up confirmation page in an envelope of size 12x9 inch by Speed Post or Registered Post. Courier services is not acceptable for this purpose and should not be used. The applicant must also superscribe on the envelope with the text "Application for CTET Nov-2012" in bold letters. No documents should be enclosed along with it.

Since it is mandatory to apply for this CTET November 2012 Examination as per the prescribed procedures, not complying with it may lead to the application getting rejected and hence the candidates must be careful in this regard.
