The above mentioned post demands a Graduate with minimum 45% marks to be eligible in terms of academic qualifications. In addition, the applicant must also ensure that he/she has the working knowledge of computer operation using Windows and various applications of MS Office package. You can apply for this Assam Secretariat Recruitment 2012 by using the prescribed application format which is attached below for your convenience. While submitting the filled-up application form, you have to write the text "Application for the post of Junior Administrative Assistant" on the right hand top corner of the envelope carrying the same. The list of documents to be enclosed along with the completed application form includes two passport size colour photograph [5 x 7 cm], pre-stamped (Rs.5/-) and self-addressed envelope of dimension 18 x 27 cm, attested copies of all certificates and marksheets from HSLC onward, caste and age proof certificates, Permanent Residential Certificates, Employment Exchange Registration Card and certificates in support of computer literacy.
A written examination will be held for selection of candidates and will include almost 3 papers on the topic General English, General Knowledge and Quantitative Aptitude as the first paper, Precis writing & Drafting in either English or Assamese Language as the second paper and General Assamese/Bodo /Bengali or Alternative English as the third paper. Both the 1st and 2nd paper will carry 100 marks each whereas the 3rd paper will have 50 marks. In addition, there will also be a personal interview of 30 marks and a computer skill test carrying 50 marks as part of the selection procedure.
