SSC Recruitment 2012 in Delhi Police for Sub Inspector (Executive)

Staff Selection Commission Recruitment 2012 is advertised recently for the post of Sub-Inspectors (Executive) in Delhi Police and an All India Examination in this regard will be held on the month of August. The vacancies are divided into two parts i.e. Male and Female and the total no. of posts in the former category is said to be 324 while that of the later is 11. The number of posts as mentioned above are further divided among the different categories and are also tentative in nature which might get changed. All the interested candidates can come forward to apply for this SSC Delhi Police Recruitment through online mode subject to fulfillment of certain prescribed eligibility conditions before the closing date which is on 6th July 2012. The minimum educational qualifications required for the post of Sub-Inspectors (Executive) is to be a graduate having a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. For candidates who have obtained this qualification through Distance Education mode or from an Open University, be informed that it will be accepted only when such degree is being recognized by DEC, IGNOU and relevant documents have to be produced in support of eligibility.

The salary structure for the above post includes a scale of Rs.9,300-34,800/- in PB II and Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/- per month. The applicant must be of the age 20 to 25 years as on 1st August 2012 to be eligible to apply. SSC Delhi Police Recruitment 2012 - How to apply online?

If you are willing to apply for this job vacancy, you have to submit an online application form which can be accessed through a dedicated registration portal made available by the commission [*see links in attachments]. In connection with this, all the candidates other than those belonging to SC/ST, Ex-serviceman and Women candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee amounting to Rs.100/- only through SBI Challan or Netbanking. For offline payment, the applicant can deposit the fee in cash along with the system generated SBI Challan form. If you are wondering where to obtain this SBI Fee Payment Challan, then let us inform you that it can be downloaded after completing the Part I Registration. However, in case of online payment through SBI Netbanking the candidate can proceed on to the Part II Registration from where the payment can be made through the available options.

To complete the registration process, the applicant has to upload a scanned copy of recent photograph in JPG format of resolution 100 x 120 pixels and a digital scanned signature of the candidate in JPG format in the resolution of 140 x 60 pixels in addition to other information related to basic details, educational qualifications, work experience or Govt. service rendered, contact details etc.

SSC Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2012 in Delhi Police - Selection Procedure

There will be an objective type written examination in two parts having 200 question each to be held on 19th August 2012. Both the papers will each carry 200 marks and 2 hours of exam duration and there will be negative markings of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. The detailed syllabus can be seen from the official notification attached below. Those candidates who qualifies in the Paper I of the written examination will be called for PET/ME or Physical Endurance Test/Medical Examination. An interview-cum-personality test will also be held as part of the selection process. The commission will then prepare an All India Merit list based on the aggregate performance in the written test and interview/personality test and they will be recommended for appointment to vacant posts subject to fulfillment of all other eligibility criteria as prescribed by the commission.
