IBPS CWE RRB 2012 Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification
In order to apply for this Common Written Examination September 2012 for Regional Rural Banks, one must fulfill certain criteria so as to be considered eligible in accordance with the requirements of IBPS. In addition to the above, widows or divorced woman will be able to avail 9 years of age relaxation in case of applying for Office Assistant category which is however subject to 38yrs for Other Backward Classes and 40yrs for Scheduled Caste/Tribes. Ex-serviceman and Disabled Ex-serviceman will also be allowed relaxation in upper age limit based on certain conditions as admissible by the guidelines of Govt of India. Any claim for relaxation must however be supported by relevant certificates as applicable.

The above eligibility criteria for IBPS CWE RRB Recruitment 2012 should be possessed as on 01-06-2012 and the degree/diploma certificates mentioned above as part of the essential educational qualifications should be from a recognized institute/university to be considered as valid application.
Apply IBPS CWE 2012 for RRB Online - Application Procedures
As usual, application submission is allowed only through online mode through dedicated registration page as offered in IBPS website. The links to apply online will be open as per the schedule listed above and applicants can proceed accordingly. You have to arrange a scanned digital copy of recent passport size photo and signature along with valid email id before applying. In case of Officer (Scale I, II & III), a non-refundable fee of Rs.50/- for SC/ST and PWD candidates is necessary while Rs.450/- will be charged for all other categories. On the other hand, if you are applying for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) then the fee applicable is Rs.50/- for SC/ST, Persons with Disability and Ex-Serviceman whereas Rs.350/- for rest of the categories like General, OBC etc. This application fee can be paid through either online mode via Netbanking/Credit/Debit card or offline through CBS branches using IBPS CWE RRB 2012 Challan. The offline payment can be deposited by using the system generated fee payment challan in any of the 6 public sector banks such as CBI, UBI, IOB, PNB, Bank of India and Bank of Baroda. Well, the detailed syllabus is included as attachment below which can be downloaded or viewed online. Generally, the exam will be conducted with around 5-6 papers carrying a maximum of 40 questions. The maximum marks out of all the papers will be 200 and there will be negative mark penalty for every wrong answer attempted. For this, 0.25 marks out of the total allotted marks will be deducted.The written examination will be held in around 220 test centres located across 27 states as per the tentative schedule listed above. Since the dates are tentative, it may get changed and in such a case the actual date will be intimated through the IBPS CWE RRB call letters or admit cards.
